Tr8er terms of use
Last updated: October 31, 2026 · Valhalla Venture Group LLC
Tr8er is trading software in a private beta, open to invited users only. By using it you agree to these terms.
Your account, your broker
- Your money stays in your own brokerage account at Alpaca Securities LLC, in your name. Tr8er is not a broker and never holds your money or securities.
- You connect that account yourself, on Alpaca's own sign-in page, and you can disconnect it at any time in Tr8er's Settings or in Alpaca's Connected Apps.
- Tr8er places orders in your account only at your direction: proposals wait for your approval unless you switch on an automation yourself.
What Tr8er's AI does and doesn't do
- Tr8er's AI reads market data, news and filings and suggests trades with its reasoning. Those suggestions can be wrong, late or based on bad data.
- Nothing in Tr8er is a promise of returns. Past results, back-tests and scores don't predict future results.
- You decide what to approve, and you are responsible for the trades in your account and the taxes on them.
Risk
Stocks, ETFs and especially crypto can lose value quickly, including all of what you put in. Only trade money you can afford to lose.
The beta
- Tr8er is free during the beta and is provided as is, without warranties. Features can change, break or stop.
- Keep your login to yourself. We can suspend or close a login that is misused.
- To the extent the law allows, Valhalla Venture Group LLC is not liable for trading losses or for losses caused by outages, bugs, data errors or third-party services such as Alpaca.
Your data
See the privacy policy. In short: we store what the app needs to run your desk, encrypted where it's a credential, and we don't sell or share it.
